
The Queen listened to Red’s words, her eyes filling with tears at the sweet words. She had only ever heard words like these once. It made her heart swell and the past to not exist. As she was pulled closer, she let her lips melt against the other woman’s, her hand coming up to rest on her cheek. Regina respond to her words through the kiss because she felt that was the best way to show Ruby how and what she felt. She moved it slowly to the back of her neck, her fingers tangling in the dark locks, deepening the kiss until her lungs burned for air.
Breaking apart, she guided Ruby to the bed, a small smile on her lips. She turned to sit down, pulling Red into her lap, holding her tight and securely. She brought her hand up to rest over Ruby’s heart. “You will never have to feel like your heart is missing. Never again.” She whispered, lowering her mouth to kiss the soft skin of her lips. She felt at home where she was and wanted to hold on to that feeling.
She felt light headed when they broke the first kiss and could only grin happily at the Queen. Ruby smiled a bit wider as she understood the meaning of the kiss, letting the other guide her towards a bed and let out a small squeaking nose at being pulled into Regina’s lap. Her head rested for a bit on Regina’s shoulder, enjoying the feeling of being held close and so tightly. The feeling of her lover’s hand on her chest caused her heart to beat a tad faster and swell at her words. ” I love you so much. I won’t run away again and I’m not going to let you go ever.” She whispered back, wrapping an arm around Regina’s waist.
Leaning up into the kiss, Ruby couldn’t help but smile as she kissed back. Placing her own hand over Regina’s she gently managed to lower her back onto the bed. Straddling her, the next kiss she gave to Regina was a tad hungrier, the desire to feel those lips against hers over riding most of her mind. Her body was calling out for the other and it would not be denied.
