Walking through the woods
She looked a little ashamed and gave a sheepish smile. “For what it’s worth I’m sorry about going off the deep end there. I just..I didn’t know how to explain everything that was going on with me and Regina.” She squeezed her friend’s hand back. “Come on,” The two entered the kitchen and she began cooking. “Anything I can help you with on the wedding? Me?” The waitress paused, cooking for a minute before letting a smile cross her features. “I’m happy, Shi-Shi. I have her back and everything is right again. I just…It nearly killed me to lose her for that month you know?”
Shira places her hand on Ruby’s shoulder. “It’s okay. Everyone has those moments.” She said in a comforting tone. She followed her into the kitchen and watched as Ruby began cooking. “Well, on the matter of the wedding, Mr. Gold is still looking for a best man and I still have to get dresses for me, you and Rama. And, Mr. Gold is insisting that someone throws me a bachelorette party.” Shira rolled her eyes, knowing that he wouldn’t insist such a thing unless he was planning something. She smiled as her friend told her about how happy she was. “I’m glad that you’re back together. You two make a great couple.”
She smiled and placed a hand over Shira’s, gently squeezing. “Thank you. I fell awful that I did that to you and everyone know.” Humming softly as she began to cook the rice for the lunch. ”Well, did he ever think to ask Archie to do it? The two of them seem to get along well. As for the bachelorette party, well I’m sure I can arrange an evening in with some red wine, a few chick flicks, and chocolate with me and Rama.” She threw in some cut vegetables along with chicken. Smiling Ruby looked at her friend with a light blush on her cheeks. “I…I love her so much and I can’t…I don’t want to lose her like that again.” Looking down at the food she stirred it in shock before speaking.
“I never thought you would say that. I’m glad that you think we are good together.” She hugged Shira tightly and spoke as she let go. “It means a lot to me that you approve.”
